Fast Dual DAC Multiplier
The CEM 3365 is a dual high speed on quadrant multiplier intended to scale the output of fast bipolar DACs in digital audio applications. Each half of the 3365 contains a very fast op ampl and a high speed current input / current output gain cell whose gain is controlled by the output of the op amp; a full scale multiplication with settling of the cell output to 12 bits can occur in 150 nS (200 nS max.). This response is in contrast to the many microseconds which would result from changing the reference input of even the fastest bipolar multiplying DACs.

Dual Low Rise VCA
The CEM 3381 and CEM 3382 are low cost dual voltage controlled amplifiers intended for applications requiring high audio performance in a small space. Both independently contained in a standard 8 pin minidip, the two gain cells feature extremely low noise for signal-to-noise ratios better than 100dB, low distortion with less than 0.1% THD, and low control feed through for “pop” free performance with gain modulation.

Dual Low Noise V.C. Filter
The CEM 3385 is a dual 4-pole low-pass voltage controlled filter intended for applications requiring high audio quality. Completely independent, each filter provides both frequency control over a 12 octave range and variable Q enhancement (resonance) from 0 to self-sustained oscillation, all with easily interface-able voltage levels from 0 to +5 volts.

Octal Sample & Hold
The CEM 5508 is an 8 channel multiplexed Sample and Hold intended for generating multiple system control voltages or moderate speed multiplexed digital audio. Containing an auto zeroing op amp, analog multiplexer, 3 bit decoder, and 8 individual Sample and Holds capable of settling to 12 bits in under 1.5 uS, the 5530 can sample a voltage from a DAC into any one of its 8 outputs with less than 2 mV error from –5 to +5 volts.

Fast Octal Sample & Hold
The CEM 5510 is a high speed eight-channel multiplexed Sample and Hold intended for multiplexed digital audio applications. Containing a very fast op amp, analog multiplexer, and eight Sample and Holds capable of settling to 12 bits in less than 400 nS, the 5510 accepts a current input from any industry standard high speed bipolar DAC to generate 8 channels of digital audio in less than 2 uS (500 nS per channel).

Octal Double Buffered Sample and Hold
The CEM 5512 is a high speed, eight channel multiplexed Sample and Hold with double sampling capability intended for digital audio applications. With all capacitors on chip, each channel consists of an input S&H with fast response for acquiring an input signal to 12 bits within 400 nS, and followed by an output S&H with independent track/hold enable signal; the addition of the second S&H allows precise timing control over the output sample regardless of when the multiplexed DAC data is available from the system. This structure, in combination with separate analog and digital supply pins and a novel design for the output S&H which effectively eliminates track-to-hold steps and signal feedthrough, provides exceptionally clean outputs for low noise and distortion.
